Can somebody guide me on how to link my registered domain name to my web host?

Can somebody please give me the steps to link my domain name that I have registered with Register.com to my GoDaddy.com web host account?

Couldn%26#039;t find the instructions on either sites on how to do so.

Any help is highly appreciated.

Thanks.

1and1 Internet offers the best domain %26amp; web hosting packages around. Web hosting packages start as low as $2.99 and comes with tons disk space and tools to help you get your web site online, including free domain registration. email your host or read their faq page
Reply:GoDaddy%26#039;s tech support people will be more than happy to walk you through that. They probably have a place on their web site where you can do it without even calling them, but if you haven%26#039;t found it yet I imagine you might be getting frustrated.

Be clear that you don%26#039;t want to *transfer* the registration - you just want them to host the site. You already have a registrar with whom you are happy.

Good luck! :-)
Reply:This might work. Give it a try. Hopefully you know that an IP address has to be associated with your domain name and it has to registered in the Domain Name System (DNS) before it can be accessed via the Internet.
