How can i put the web page i designed on the web?

Due to demand, I am beginning to design web pages among other things for my small graphic design company. Clients are pleased with the design on a CD, but are requesting that I actually get the page to their chosen domain, or help them with the process. I am not sure how to go about this. I have looked into Yahoo web hosting, but it seems that you have to create from their template. I am using an art software that publishes the website to pdf. I don%26#039;t mind paying for the space, I would just charge the client a little more.

Since you are creating your own websites, you will need to be willing to learn HTML or use one of the WYSIWYG programs like FrontPage or DreamWeaver. You mentioned that your software creates a PDF. That%26#039;s great to show what the website would look like for your clients, but at some point it needs to be in HTML for the Web. You%26#039;ll also need an ftp program to upload your stuff. There%26#039;s a good free one for personal use called %26quot;FTP Explorer%26quot;. A good one to buy would be WS_FTP Pro.

If your client doesn%26#039;t already have a hosting company, I suggest ReadyHosting. You get 100GB of space unlimted e-mail accounts, FTP access and domain name registration all for $99 a year.

If you have any other questions, just e-mail me.

You have to upload your files on your websites, and that space for your files is included in the hosting plan that you purchase. There are lots of FTP client software which you can use to upload your files. Just ask your web host the FTP address, host name, and directory.

Most of the hosts now also include in their package a file manager on their control panel. That means, you can upload your files through your web hosting account%26#039;s control panel. Again, ask your webhost if tehy have file manager option.

And lastly, you can use your browser to upload your files. I personally prefer Internet Explorer (although I%26#039;m a mozilla user) among the browsers in uploading my files because in uploading my files, I only have to copy the files form my computer and %26quot;paste%26quot; in in my virtual folder (same as copying a file from one folder to another in my computer).

If you are looking for a better host, check My Webbie Hosting. You don%26#039;t have to pay much since they have Lite Plan which is only $3.95/month and alreay includes free domain name, cPanel, etc.
