You%26#039;ll want a host with a lot of bandwidth and disk space.

I%26#039;d suggest SLHost, I%26#039;ve been using them for years for some community-based sites with the shared Level 2 package. Check out the shared packages here: http://slhost.com/shared_solutions.html

Once you start getting a lot of traffic on your site and over-running your bandwidth you can just buy more from them or upgrade your package. It%26#039;s pretty painless and cheap.

As far as a registar, use whatever is cheapest. GoDaddy.com with code SLASH will save you 10%, code SLASH3 will get you a .com domain for $6.95.

They only charge $5.95/month and they offer %26quot;a free Domain Name%26quot; and installing service called %26quot;Fantastico%26quot;. By using Fantastico, you could create own forum, photo gallery, shopping cart (e-commerce),your own auction site and your own blogs within few seconds. They also offer %26quot;Free Website Builder%26quot; as well.
