What is a good web site to get free cool web designs for your own personal site?

My teacher assigned us to make our own web site. In your opinion, what is the best place to get free web hosting? I really want a cool website, any suggestions are welcome. If you know how, please include short easy instructions on how to put music and backgrounds on the site. Anything will be greatly appreciated.

thats a good wee site for it, tells you the basics and has links to templates. learning a bit of html is necessary but istn too difficult.

and finally for web hosting - you can use yahoo geocities but be warned they dont let you put links which go to other sites whatsoever.





and finally, check and see if your isp has free webspace for you. iof not, freewebs should be good enough to get started with.





i tried to add a link for a hosting site - but it wont let me. google %26quot;free webs%26quot; without the space.
